Stokesdale Community Park (Baseball/Softball Fields)

Park Info: The Stokesdale Community Park (SCP) is a privately owned parklocated at 8401 Capri Drive in Stokesdale, NC, that comprises of two baseball/softball fields, a picnic shelter, and restroom facilities. The two fields may also be used for soccer as well. Please note that the SCP is owned & operated by the SP&R, and not the Town of Stokesdale.
Availability: The SCP is rented by the SP&R to Stokesdale citizens, organized groups, teams, leagues and/or corporate organizations on a first-come, first served basis. Those who have rented the SCP will have priority use of these facilities during the rental period.
Reservations: It is preferred that reservations be made 30 days, but not more than (12) twelve months, in advance. All Lessees must submit a completed rental agreement, the appropriate deposit amount, and receive approval from the SP&R prior to the planned event. Reservations are granted at the sole discretion of the SP&R Board.
Payment / Fee Schedule: One-half (1/2) of the total rental fee shall be submitted with the rental agreement, with the remaining balance due (2) two days prior to the approved event.
Cancellation Schedule & Refund Policy:
o Cancellation with two weeks or more notice = 100% refund of paid fees.
o Cancellation with one full week of notice = 75% refund of paid fees.
o Cancellations with less than a (7) seven day notice will forfeit all paid fees.
Rescheduling Policy: Should the SP&R need to cancel an event due to weather or for any other unforeseeable problem/factor, the Lessee shall be granted a full refund of any paid fees or given the option of rescheduling to a later/open date.
Damages & Liability: It is understood and agreed to by both parties (SP&R and the Lessee), that the SP&R shall in no way be held responsible for any property damage and/or personal injuries arising from the Lessee’s use of the SCP. The Lessee shall agree to be held responsible for any damages resulting from the Lessee’s use of the SCP.

In addition, please note that organized groups and/or teams will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance along with their rental agreement.
